After the memorable concert in Fenice in 2017, the famous Breton composer returns directly from his hermitage “The Eskal”, the residence / studio built in an abandoned disco on the island of Ushant. The place that in the last 10 years has given life to a new stylistic chapter in which the sumptuous and winking themes, fray and dilute in large sound spaces, suspended between field recordings and cascades of harmonics. Anticipated by the songs “Tempelhof” and “Peli”, the latter written together with his wife as a lullaby for his son, Yann Tiersen presents “All”, his last effort released last February as a choral work of great musical interplay in which his piano and violin are interwoven with synthesizers, harpsichords, tubular bells, embellished by the echoes and resonances of his poetics that has so much characterized his forays into the visual and cinematographic world.
