Pedro Campiche born 1985, aka Akacorleone, is a Portuguese-Swiss visual artist. In the undergrounds of his hometown Lisbon he started his creative path as graffiti writer. As a compulsive drawer, he was always obsessed with and fascinated by graphic and visual design. He studied arts and since 2007 he has a degree in Design and Visual Communication. After working as a graphic designer in studios and agencies for a few years he became fully disappointed with that field, and decided to work as a freelance illustrator next to his motivation to pursuit his artistic career.
In the field of visual arts he is known today for his dexterity in using colors, typography, characters and refined shapes which he blends to achieve eye-catching compositions imbued with originality and an ubiquitous sense of humor.
He has been exhibiting his work on solo and collective exhibitions since 2010. His exhibitions reached from Portugal to the Netherlands, to Thailand and even the Philippines.
