PLATTENBAU (DE):
Plattenbau (commie block in German) is an international Berlin-based foursome that fuses elements of post-punk, noise rock and wave into a dark and intense potion. Their sound blends robotic drums, gothy basslines, mystical guitars and paranoid synths into a mood akin to a 90s VHS horror soundtrack, tied together with deep, brooding vocals. The result is a sonic experience that feels both chaotic and meticulously crafted, on brand with their slogan “Tight, loose and evil”. Having recently released their latest full-length album, “Cursed”, they’re once again cruising Europe and setting a trail of destruction wherever they go.

mit M.D. Camera (Berlin)
experimental, shoegaze, avant-garde, power ambient
Constantly in search for the new collisions between music and sound art, Life in Noises is both a reminder and reflection on our living through informationally polluted times, where distraction by constant increasing information stream has become a new norm. Seeking for beauty, priorities and adaption to this acceleration, both in contradictions, or by slowing down to find and disperse among the colourful noises of stillness. This time, in collaboration with Michael Drummer from the band Camera (Berlin) acceleration hitting new horizons.
