Con FLUX TABLE, Daikan fa una cosa che sulla carta suona improbabile e quindi perfetta per la Design Week: prende il metallo, lo lucida fino a farlo sembrare acqua ferma e lo trasforma in un’esperienza da guardare, toccare, annusare e persino assaggiare. In Return to…, in Via Palermo 18, il tavolo è solo l’inizio: sotto c’è un percorso multisensoriale tra campioni tattili, fragranze estratte dalla pietra e dagli organismi viventi, e un finale ispirato al konpeito. Se non tocchi, godi solo a metà. 

With FLUX TABLE, Daikan does something that seems unlikely on paper, making it perfect for Design Week: he takes metal, polishes it until it resembles still water, and transforms it into an experience to be seen, touched, smelled, and even tasted. In Return to…, at Via Palermo 18, the table is just the beginning: underneath, a multisensory journey unfolds through tactile samples, fragrances extracted from stone and living organisms, and a finale inspired by konpeito. If you don’t touch, you’re only halfway enjoying.
