In 2017, Ventura projects maintained its Lambrate base, but trespassed slightly into Ventura Centrale territory. Its main event of the Salone was produced with luxurious scenography in the warehouses on Via Ferrante Aporti. It was clearly a trial run, because this year it has officially abandoned the street from which it took its name, mercilessly relocating. This is nothing new in marketing, of course, but it’s still a bit of a shock. In any case, in addition to Centrale this year we will see FuturDome, the creation of Atto Belloli Ardessi and Ginevra Bria, as well as new HQ for Federico Pepe and his legendary Le Dictateur. Ventura Future is born, and it brings a touch of Made in Italy production to Via Paisiello with Mingardo Rendez-Vous, a collection of metal objects from Federica Biasi, Denis Guidone, Valerio Sommella and Dutch Mae Engelgeer, as well as the new creations from Editions Milano, with Federico Peri, Patricia Urquiola, Bethan Gray and Federico Pepe. Not to mention the surrealist machines from Nick Boers, Random Press Tool and Random Acts of Violence, which create shapes by randomly destroying and folding, and finally a 3D printer for floors. This year even sees the institution of the Futurdome Prize with Paolo Ulian, Marie Ange Breyer and Luca Nichetto among others on the jury.
