Nilufar, one of the nuclei of research into the best design and art from the 1900s, presents two exhibitions at its two Milanese hubs. The first, held at the Nilufar Depot at Viale Lancetti 34, is entitled “Lina Bo Bardi e Giancarlo Palanti – Studio d’Arte Palma 1948 – 1951”. This is, as the title suggests, a collaboration with the Bardi Institute of Sao Paulo to investigate the work of two Italo-Brasilian deignrs. The exhibition is the result of Nina Yashars research into Lina Bo Bardi and her work as a furniture designer, which brings to light the forgotten work of Giancarlo Palanti.

For the exhibition at the Nilafur Gallery at Via della Spiga 32, designer India Mahdavi has created an exclusive club dedicated to gallerist Nina Yashar, where ad-hoc furniture enters into dialogue with the gallery’s permanent collection.
