Apart from a charming Spanish punk who destroyed my shins during Shanti Celeste, Inhabits by DDN was yet again the smartest event of the Fuorisalone last year: proved by the vast international public, far more accustomed to partying in parks than we are. So, what’s their secret? Firstly, a credible and trendy design product (house units and functional spaces) that stretches between Via Beltrami and Piazza Castello, curated by Progetto CMR, Matteo Fantoni Studio, Piuarch, Studio Laviani e TAM Associati. Then there’s the entertainment. Let’s start with food: dishes from chefs such as Philippe Léveillé, Misha Sukyas e Felix Lo Basso, as well as food trucks, cocktails and beers. And last but by no means least, a really fun line-up with none of this guestlist, do-you-know-who-I-am-nonsense. This is really what makes Inhabits a festival, it even has a mega-stage (every night till 1am).
