Last year, Cosa Calda had everyone dancing into the small hours at Macao with an epic set from The Barking Dogs. It’s back this year as Extra/Cosa Calda on Sunday afternoon and it’s moved to Acropolis – Temple of the Lost Future, the new occupied space next to the Fabbrica del Vapore: an abandoned tram hangar that has been spruced up by some keen under-35s. It’s a location that brings a gleam to the eyes of anybody involved in the underground party scene and is the ideal venue for those who think of the Salone as a week of parties and are more than happy to end it with the varied electronica of special guests Low Jack, John T. Gast and Piezo, ranging from the more experimental to syncopated bass lines. They will be accompanied by the ethnic electronica of Primordial Ooze (Communion) and Sonia Garcia, and The Barking Dogs, who will try and repeat last year’s magic.
