The Design Department of the Milan Polytechnic University has involved the Departments of Energy, Mechanics, Aerospace Science and Technology and Electronics, Information and Bioengineering, along with Polihub and Polifactory and collaborations from Makefab and IDEAS Bit Factory in a presentation of experimental designs and products, with the aim of giving visibility to concrete ideas characterised by the polytechnic culture. The idea is to form a connection between Design for Designers, an exhibition of designs and prototypes selected by the School of Design held in Building B2, and designs and products that are at a later stage of development, all originating from the various departments, developed at Polifactory or incubated at Polihub, which all underline the innovative processes behind how we work together and produce ideas. This and other events are all part of the construction process of what, as of this year, will be known as the Bovisa Design District, which promises revamped content and identity.
