“Architecture has a great opportunity to emphasise nature’s free gifts”. This thought from Yvonne Farrell e Shelley McNamara, curators of the 16th Venice Architecture Biennale, inspired Cleaf, a company that has always been committed to seeking the best surface solutions for interior design, to present the Surfaces from the Antipodes project/installation. It was developed in collaboration with Bestetti Associati and Studiopepe. The installation winds through four architectural cubes to reveal four diametrically opposed environments – glacier, desert, forest and city – to emphasise how Cleaf surfaces can replicate the tactile and visual sensations of the materials found in these places, such as ice, rock, sand, wood, cement and metal, by using innovative existing technology. The immersive experience will be redoubled by video and audio installations by Propp and Painè Cuadrelli.
