With a wide palimpsest of events developed over a year of collaboration, networking and territorial work, the focus this year is on the union of research, art and know-how. Along with curators Nicolas Bellavance-Lecompte, Maria Cristina Didero, Annalisa Rosso and Alice Stori Liechtenstein, 5VIE builds “made-to-measure” projects that once more see the participation of Sara Ricciardi, Valentina Cameranesi and Erez Nevi Pana to create projects that investigate the mechanics of design as well as its most controversial and intimate aspects.
With the intention of opening up unused urban spaces, 5VIE reopens the Ex-Meazza space, a hardware store and symbol of the post-war period for all Milanese locals t that closed down two years ago, to present a “mini-anthology” of the work of < strong>Nanda Vigo. In its archive HQ, visitors can admire the “Deep Space” sculpture exhibition as well as the SUN-RA exhibition, the result of collaboration between JCP e Adolfo Carrara Studio Design: a collection of lamps that summarise the career and work of the Milanese designer.
