There’s a touch of Rome at this year’s Design Week. The Sanctuary gang will be colonising Lambrate District with a project that brings the aesthetics and philosophy of the Roman restaurant here to Milan. The Eco Experience is the base for five days of exploring the relationship between man and nature. Enter an urban jungle, a recovered industrial space of 1,000 square metres, a mechanical workshop in the heart of Lambrate, which will be furnished with plants, trees, carpets, furniture made with recycled materials, living rooms and hammocks for the occasion.

The inevitable large central bar is somewhere to hang out from 11:00 until after dinner while trying recipes from around the world, from Asia to Mexico. The Sanctuary Experience is alive throughout the day with performances, DJ sets and artists that represent the spirit of Rome.
