You can’t geolocate it with google maps: you just have to tune into their flow. Te 8th hill of Rome is where Danno and Masito hold a mic in their hands. In 2018 they released “Adversus”, fourth album in 24 years. Colle Der Fomento tell stories of life, fragments of the streetscape, all refractions of Rome. Stories that turn into wars: against the enemy out there, against the society that leaves more and more people on the edge; against the enemy that is within us, the one that is reflected in the mirror every morning, against fears and insecurity; against time, which passes relentlessly. In short, “Adversus”, latin word, gets the feeling for that. Hard rhymes, hard core rhymes, on cinematographic old school beats that maintain scents of Far West and 4/4 urban beats. With these assumptions, even without google maps, nobody is lost. In the opening acts for the 10th edition of the Hip Hop Day at the Sherwood Festival there’s also the historical combat rap of Assalti Frontali.
