We’re over museums transformed into clubs but while the Club House by Tankboys may be located in an art space, it is actually an itinerant club. This mobile (non)space will is device that will attempt to connect the club space with design (whether furniture or installation), socialising and music. House is the key word and this place vibrates to the sound of house music: that genre that symbolises the escapism connected to social changes (especially for black American homosexuals) and the diffusion of the club concept. DJs, architects, DJ/artists and curators will all be taking part in the project (there is already talk of taking it to London) united by the cry “this is my house and house music was born”.
