In keeping with the image of MiArt by Mousse, the 15th edition of Green Island and the event curated by Claudia Zanfi and her Atelier del Paesaggio studio, which study eco-design and urban biodiversity, the focus here is on bees, a fundamental element in the global ecosystem. Stazione Garibaldi has become a classic location which has seen Branzi, Tom Matton and Lois Weinberger pass through over the years and it will be hosting an artistic installation by Volpati/Nucara and a green area on platform 1. The winner of the New Urban Ecologies competition will also be announced. What’s more, Green Island has created the first artistic apiary in the gardens of Via Padova, a space that was recently given back to the city, and an eco-hive by Simone Berti near Porta Genova.
