You might say the Great Spring Ball at the Balera dell’Ortica in collaboration with Santeria is the Spring Break event of this design week. Ok, we’re not getting away to the slopes or a beach resort for a few days, but there are many other similarities to a holiday. Dancing to music that you wouldn’t usually dance to, knocking ‘em back (minimum refinement and low prices), students that have finished their exams and wish solely to examine other bodies… I think that’s everything. Oh no, all the films that have ever tried to capture the mood of these holidays have failed miserably; you’d be far better off spending the evening at the Balera.
