Fondato ad Amsterdam da Arjen Bangma, Transnatural lavora da anni in quel territorio un po’ ibrido dove arte, design e sperimentazione materica si incontrano. Il punto di partenza è quasi sempre lo stesso: processi naturali, materiali inaspettati e un mix calibrato tra artigianato tradizionale, tecnologie avanzate ed energie alternative. Il risultato sono oggetti e installazioni che sembrano più prototipi curiosi che prodotti finiti e probabilmente è proprio questo il punto. A SOLIDIFIED, Transnatural presenta una nuova serie di lavori: Deep Colour wall panels, Transience mirrors, Echo Mirrors e Lamina Lights, sviluppati con designer come Martens & Visser, A+N studio, Lex Pott & David Derksen, Interactivist e Tijs Gilde. 

Founded in Amsterdam by Arjen Bangma, Transnatural has been working for years in that somewhat hybrid space where art, design, and material experimentation meet. The starting point is almost always the same: natural processes, unexpected materials, and a balanced mix of traditional craftsmanship, advanced technologies, and alternative energy. The result is objects and installations that feel more like curious prototypes than finished products, and that’s probably the point.
