Dropcity opens its labs to the public and, with rare generosity, also reveals the part that usually goes unphotographed: the work itself. Amid presses, workbenches, and 3D printers, the project shifts the focus to the phase that often remains invisible. More than ten permanent workshops – ranging from ceramics to textiles, from woodworking to 3D printing – weave together research, prototyping, and manufacturing. The journey flows naturally through exhibitions such as The White House. Domestic Propaganda, Soft Fold, and Ordinary Beauty. An Italian Scenario, which reflects on politics, design, and the beauty of the ordinary. And once you’re done, there’s also the Very Simple Sagra with a Very Simple Bar – a place to unwind, and decompress between ideas and making.
