The Classroom is back in Milan. Following stints in Marrakech with Hilario Isola and near Florence and Venaria Reale alongside Masbedo, the programme dedicated to art and education will be held from 24 to 26 March and again from 27 March to 10 April with an exhibition at Via Cesare Correnti 14 and a project curated by Paola Nicolin, included in the main programme of Miart and in collaboration with the 5vie art+design association. The main chair will be held by artists Piero Golia and Diego Perrone, with a series of talks/workshops/lessons dedicated to another great artist, Chris Burden, protagonist and agitator of the heroic season of American art in the 70’s. As well as their class, the two artists will be experimenting with the paper material and designs of Burden and the Risograph digital reproduction technique to further explore the practice of this great artist. Over time, this series of prints and material will decorate the classroom itself. A new way to listen to and tell stories and communicate contemporary art, straight from the mouths of people who work in art every day.
