La classe operaia del design va a ballare in fabbrica

Derrick May, considerato inventore della techno con Juan Atkins e Kevin Saunderson, nel documentario “High Tech Soul” (che trovate su YouTube, quindi non ci sono scuse per non vederlo), esordisce con: “Detroit è una città strana, potrebbe essere una grande città ma non ha una mentalità da grande città. (…) Non è una città terribile, ma è una città terribilmente progettata”. Ed è lì che è nata la techno negli anni ottanta. E forse, è anche per questo che la trovi ovunque e sta bene anche in una città come Milano. Per il Fuorisalone, arriva la prima edizione della FABBRICA DESIGN WEEK, che ospiterà il festival ideato da Lele Sacchi e Eric Galiani. Djs e artisti internazionali da pomeriggio fino a mezzanotte, seguiti dagli after al Tempio. Alcuni tra i nomi confermati: Sama Abdulhadi, attivista e prima dj palestinese a ottenere un riconoscimento internazionale dopo aver iniziato la carriera nella fiorente scena techno di Beirut. Young Marco, che con i suoi set di techno e house psichedelici portano in estasi folle danzanti. Francesco Del Garda, sempre una certezza nelle lineup con i suoi dischi morbidi che viaggiano tra house, garage, e minimal raccordando passato e presente. E poi Alex Neri, Fabio Monesi, Dolce Potente e molti altri.

Maybe that’s also why you find it everywhere and why it looks good even in a city like Milan. For the Fuorisalone, here comes the first edition of the FABBRICA DESIGN WEEK, which will host a festival conceived by Lele Sacchi and Eric Galiani. International djs and artists from afternoon until midnight, followed by after parties at Tempio. A few of the confirmed guests: Sama Abdulhadi, activist and the first Palestinian dj to gain international recognition after starting her career in Beirut’s thriving techno scene. Young Marco, whose psychedelic techno and house sets bring dancing crowds into ecstasy. Francesco Del Garda, always a certainty in lineups with his smooth records travelling between house, garage and minimal, connecting past and present. And then Alex Neri, Fabio Monesi, Dolce Potente and many others.
