Altreforme disembarks at the Spazio Rossana Orlandi with a collection of 10 limited-edition objects designed by five representatives from the world of design (Antonio Aricò, Serena Confalonieri, Marcantonio, Alessandro Zambelli and Zanellato/Bortolotto). Five very different pencils here with equally varied specialisations, but probably bound by their attention to texture and colour combinations. This certainly didn’t escape Valentina Fontana, art director at Altreforme, an Italian company specialised in the production of aluminium accessories and furnishings, who commissioned 10 sculptures from these creatives, putting the company’s production to the test and at the same time maintaining the values and loud pop feel of previous collections. The family of products is an attempt to relaunch the company’s technological know-how, although the excessive and caricatural look of the objects may prove to be a double-edged blade that is perhaps only of impact in an equally eccentric context.
