Everything everywhere all at once

Caotico, sorprendente, travolgente, assurdo. THINKING DIFFERENT – everything, everywhere, everyone, nel grande quartier generale di Superdesign Show che da 24 anni si afferma come destinazione fissa nel pellegrinaggio del Fuorisalone, anche oggi si caratterizza in tantissime modalità diverse. In quest’ultima produzione di Superstudio Events di Gisella Borioli con la direzione artistica di Giulio Cappellini e il coordinamento di Laura Vella, c’è la volontà di contaminare culture locali con desideri globali. L’orizzonte asiatico emerge con proposte da Giappone, Thailandia e Cina. La tecnologia diventa ponte tra fisico e virtuale. La “Generazione Z” e l’attenzione all’ambiente vogliono essere al centro delle riflessioni portate dalla progettazione. L’arte continua a provare a parlare col design (anche se ancora faticano a comprendersi), e l’inclusione diventa finalmente cruciale per rispondere alle diverse esigenze che esulano dal normale e normato.

Chaotic, surprising, overwhelming, absurd. THINKING DIFFERENT – everything, everywhere, everyone, in the grand headquarters of Superdesign Show, which for 24 years has established itself as an inevitable destination in the Fuorisalone pilgrimage, is characterized today in countless different ways. In this latest production by Superstudio Events, led by Gisella Borioli with artistic direction by Giulio Cappellini and coordination by Laura Vella, there is a desire to blend local cultures with global desires. The Asian horizon emerges with proposals from Japan, Thailand, and China. Technology becomes a bridge between the physical and virtual. The “Generation Z” and environmental concerns want to be at the center of the reflections brought by design. Art continues to try to communicate with design (although they still struggle to understand each other), and inclusion finally becomes crucial to respond to diverse needs that go beyond the normal and regulated.
