Sono intorno a noi, in mezzo a noi, in molti casi siamo noi

Era il 15 aprile 2024 quando gli alieni invasero Milano. Nessuna esplosione, urla di terrore, scenari post-apocalittici: avevano già conquistato gran parte del globo terrestre e ne avevano silenziosamente piegato le dinamiche. La loro specie si mimetizzava con la popolazione umana grazie a vestiti tendenzialmente neri (prediligono maglioni di pile decorati da tinte e motivi improbabili o dolcevita, abbinati a jeans oppure pantaloni da lavoro abbastanza corti da lasciare in mostra i calzini spaiati o dai colori esotici), copricapi modello beanie (spesso estremamente corti per lasciare esposte agli agenti atmosferici le grandi fronti operose che li caratterizzano), occhiali da vista con montature vistose e inusuali che bloccano i raggi laser con cui analizzano e giudicano il mondo. Unico problema di quel giorno: la densità della piccola metropoli non permetteva alle navicelle di atterrare. Un radar, però, intercettò un luminoso spazio bianco dove potersi fermare: la corte interna di Spazio Maiocchi. Lì comparvero scritte che, come un mantra, recitavano “Capsule Plaza” “Capsule Plaza”“Capsule Plaza”, e l’ambiente diventò talmente saturo da dover trovare un corpo estraneo a cui attaccarsi: 10 Corso Como, che diventò una bolla che sembrava venire dal 2050, e più. E così, trovati i due quartieri generali, tanti piccoli esseri iniziarono a materializzarsi recitando i loro nomi:  Rimowa, Herzog & De Meuron, Poltronova feat. Harry Nuriev, Verner Panton, Nike Alphafly 3 feat. Alaska Alaska, Hydro, BD Barcelona feat. Muller Van Severen, Ecco Leather, Tiffany & CO, UGG feat. James Bantone, La Prairie, Iittala feat. Damsel Elysium, Niceworkshop, Marsotto Edizioni feat. David/Nicolas. Tanti altri ve ne erano, ma non sono stati possibili da decifrare nel suono del rituale collettivo che ipnotizzava chiunque varcasse la soglia Capsule.

They are around us, in our midst, in many cases they are us

It was the 15th April 2024 when the aliens invaded Milan. No explosions, screams of terror, post-apocalyptic scenarios: they already conquered most of the globe and silently disrupted its dynamics. Their species camouflaged themselves with the human population thanks to clothes that were mostly black (they preferred fleece jumpers decorated with improbable colours and patterns or dolcevita, paired with jeans or work trousers short enough to show off their mismatched socks or their exotic colours), beanie-style headgear (often extremely short to leave their large, hard-working foreheads exposed to the weather), eyeglasses with flashy and unusual frames which block the laser rays they use to analyse and judge the world. Only one problem occurred that day: the density of the small metropolis did not allow the spacecraft to land. A radar, however, intercepted a bright white space where they could stop: the inner courtyard of Spazio Maiocchi. There, signs appeared that, like a mantra, recited “Capsule Plaza””Capsule Plaza””Capsule Plaza”, and the environment became so saturated that they had to find a foreign body to attach themselves to: 10 Corso Como, which became a bubble that seemed to come from 2050, and more. Thus, once the two headquarters had been found, many small beings began to materialise, claiming their names: Rimowa, Herzog & De Meuron, Poltronova feat. Harry Nuriev, Verner Panton, Nike Alphafly 3 feat. Alaska Alaska, Hydro, BD Barcelona feat. Muller Van Severen, Ecco Leather, Tiffany & CO, UGG feat. James Bantone, La Prairie, Iittala feat. Damsel Elysium, Niceworkshop, Marsotto Edizioni feat. David/Nicolas. There were many others, but they were impossible to discern in the sound of the collective ritual that hypnotised everyone who crossed the Capsule threshold.
