La sede milanese dell’International Design Institute partecipa al Fuorisalone, con mostre sia nella propria sede sia nel Porta Venezia Design District. Raffles Milano ci porta i freschi sguardi dei suoi studenti sulla progettazione del futuro, esplorando materiali organici, nuove modalità abitative e modalità di comunicazione ibridando le discipline. Saranno tre le mostre in via Felice Casati: UNCOVER EVERYTHINK offre una panoramica sulle idee dei docenti e degli studenti, SHAPE EVERYTHINK esplora l’uso sostenibile della carta, ENVISION EVERYTHINK è un viaggio immersivo attraverso l’architettura con focus sulla riqualificazione urbana e la rinascita di progetti del passato. 

La scuola diventa parte attiva del distretto, firmando anche la sua nuova identità visiva e operando alcune incursioni urbane, evidenziando l’eclettismo e l’innovazione del distretto. Grazie alla collaborazione con Outpump, infatti, ha preso forma l’intervento temporaneo di public art in Via Morgagni. Gli studenti di Raffles Milano, assieme a colleghi provenienti da altri istituti milanesi specializzati in graphic e visual design, sono stati chiamati a intervenire su un muro espositivo temporaneo ideando manifesti che riflettono la personalità e la visione dei giovani talenti.

The Milan headquarters of the International Design Institute is participating in the Fuorisalone, with exhibits both in its own building and in the Porta Venezia Design District. Raffles Milano brings us its students’ fresh perspectives on the design of the future, exploring organic materials, new ways of living and ways of communicating by hybridising disciplines. There will be three exhibitions in Via Felice Casati: UNCOVER EVERYTHINK offers an overview of the ideas of the teachers and students, SHAPE EVERYTHINK explores the sustainable use of paper, ENVISION EVERYTHINK is an immersive journey through architecture with a focus on urban redevelopment and the rebirth of projects from the past. 

The school becomes an active part of the district, signing its new living identity and making some urban incursions, highlighting the district’s eclecticism and innovation. Thanks to the collaboration with Outpump, in fact, the temporary public art intervention in Via Morgagni will take place. Raffles Milano students, together with colleagues from other Milanese institutes specialised in graphic and visual design, were called upon to intervene on a temporary exhibition wall, creating posters reflecting the personality and vision of the young talents.
