I’m sure I’ve written this before, but I like to repeat myself: for years now (about 10, I reckon), I have gazed upon Outlook Festival as the Saviour of European bassline, fooling myself every year that I have the organisational skills to arrange a trip to Croatia in early September. I let myself, and my comrades, down every year without fail. It remains a forbidden (although, not really) dream of mine that will be mollified slightly by the festival’s official Launch Party tonight. The party is captained, no less, by Joseph “Finwa” Finister, who is Outlook artist manager among other things, i.e. somebody who should conjure up an accurate representation of the festival’s sounds.
