Those who know Daniel González will undoubtedly remember him for his eccentric clothing, where a standard item of clothing would become a canvas ready to be developed and recomposed through the addition and removal of accessory elements. It is here that fashion and wearable art come together. Having received the international prize from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation of New York in 2017, González will be in Milan to inaugurate his first Pop-Up Shop, open until 28 April, where he will present the D.G.Clothes Project collection, a family of Wearable Sculptures that mixes objects, clothes, shoes, fabrics, accessories and styles, making art a part of daily life and accessible to everybody. Until 22 April, the stylist will also exhibit his work at the new Ventura Future location, via Paisiello 6, as part of FutureDome, including handmade 3D wallpaper in Mylar and a selection of vases made from sequins handstitched onto fabric.
