Philip Morris International is back at the Milan Design Week for the third week in a row, confirming that the company shares the design vision of building a different future.
The IQOS WORLD project will represent innovation, research and a desire to overcome the limits of traditional thinking. IQOS is the first reduced-risk product prototype and it aims to provide an alternative that can still satisfy smokers yet drastically reduce toxic emissions. Karim Rashid, a designer who has always stood out for his desire to go beyond the present, has designed an immersive installation especially for IQOS. At the centre of the installation, the Konverse sculpture depicts the stylised profiles of two faces captured as they draw closer to one another: it is a reflection on dialogue and the sense of connections between people, which has never been more relevant than it is now.
