The Spanish design world is probably one of the most flourishing markets in Europe today, especially when it comes to product design. Over the years, we have become used to designers from that background, such as Hector Serrano or Jaime Hayòn who show great sensitivity to the artistic side of this discipline, without sacrificing their highly consolidated approach to the industrial world. The work of Mario Ruiz continues along this trajectory, yet nonetheless differs from the two names mentioned above. It is incredible, in fact, how almost imperceptible nods to Latin culture have made space for very clean and sincere products that, as Ruiz himself says, “become essential without making too much noise about it”. Honesty and tranquillity are the defining traits of this designer, who will exhibit 26 products at the Instituto Cervantes in Milan, illustrating both the companies he has worked for and his ceaseless internal quest for more intuitive and comprehensible designs for people.

The exhibition will be open until 21 April. Opening hours:
Monday – Friday, 10:00 – 13:00/15:00 – 19:00
Saturday, 10:00 – 13:00. Closed on Sunday.
