This year, Source presents LOVELY WASTE, a prototype for the service that Source will offer to companies to help them develop new best practices for a circular economy.
LOVELY WASTE is also the first of a series of events intended to provide space for designs and designers who embrace sustainability (of the product and the process) and technology, two areas through which Source will continue to perform its role of connecting designers and companies. Small-scale sustainable architectures introduce designs where the reuse and recycling of materials is the basis of the whole project, revealing an economy that needs to focus on the waste production cycle as well as the conscious use of materials. This panorama offers a mixture of young designers, students and some small companies, rewarding the most virtuous and creative. The heart of the exhibition is within the ZONA K space, with the n. zero project on the recovery of production waste developed by designers strong>Francesco Fusillo, Alberto Ghirardello, Filippo Protasoni and Sebastiano Tonelli with/for the Tuscan company WooClass and BLOFT, a collective led by Gumdesign, which connects companies and independent designers wishing to develop kilometre zero business projects through the use of natural materials and a respectful relationship with local economies.
