The FuoriSalone is an interesting occasion because as well as providing a chance to get to know the city and its inhabitants better, it is also an opportunity to discover other cultures and countries through their artistic work. As well as the aforementioned Be Brasil and Asia Design Pavilion, Korea is mixed in among the Milanese events with an exhibition of 25 items by 35 artists and expert contemporary designers. Since 2013, the “Constancy and Change in Traditional Korean Craft” project curated by the Minister of Culture, Sport and Tourism has aimed to promote traditional Korean craft through the everyday objects of a country that very few people can claim to really know.
