Napapijri

The presence of Napapijri in the Tortona district is anything but random: the district’s focus on material research, in all its forms, shows the event’s desire to continue the digital manufacture saga begun last year with the Manifattura 4.0 exhibition.
For this year’s Fuorisalone, the Italian/American brand presents Ze-Knit, the new collection designed for the city and inspired by the new opportunities offered by contemporary design: an avantgarde line with digital influences. Nineteen monochrome and tone on tone items of clothing with a modern cut, in anti-perspirant, waterproof and flexile fabrics.
Ze-Knit is presented as part of #Futurehood, an articulate palimpsest of events: the Via Tortona 31 space will hold performances, workshops and installations including Murmure Wall – fitted out with artificial intelligence, curated by the Future Cities Lab collective from San Francisco – and Futurehood Atlas, a new map where the city territory is reconfigured on the basis of personal relationships.
Italian and international guests (including Stefano Boeri, Alessandro Guerriero, Rachaporn Choochuey, Bruce Sterling, Jasmina Tesanovic, Stefano Mirti, and Giacomo Biraghi) will tackle the future theme, each in their own specific area of speciality: fashion, design, architecture, technology, innovation and the environment. The future of the city, the future of the neighbourhood: #Futurehood.
