Cino Zucchi is a great hoarder, as well as being one of the most cultured and curious architects around. His exhibitions are rich mines of information and materials and images, no matter how small the space may be. Sempering, curated along with Luisa Collina, Simona Galateo and Valentina Auricchio, is named after a neologism coined by Gottfried Semper, the nineteenth century architect famous for having built the best barricades at the Dresden Uprising and theorising architectural principles inspired by Cuvier’s natural science. The curators have simply pushed his methods even further, investigating the tectonics of architecture. It will definitely be worth it.
