Nel buio dei tunnel della Stazione Centrale, nascosto agli occhi del mondo, arriva un rifugio segreto per chi cerca evasione dal logorio della vita moderna e dal trambusto del Fuorisalone. Finalmente un block party in cantiere, dove il dancefloor torna a costituire fondamenta solide per delle ottime feste. Hundebiss Records, scelto da Dropcity, cura un ricco palinsesto di performance musicali sperimentali, rivelando i nuovi pilastri seminascosti della scena musicale milanese e internazionale. Ogni notte, dal 12 al 20 aprile, djset e concerti di elettronica con influenze bass, dub, dancehall, arab, acid, techno, illuminano di psichedelia le pareti umide della galleria 40. Ad avere le chiavi per aprire in notturna il cantiere di Dropcity, c’è Chuquimamani-Condori: artista e musicista multidisciplinare che fonde la musica tradizionale della sua famiglia (di nazionalità del Pakajaqi che abbiamo scoperto essere attualmente occupato da Bolivia, Cile e Argentina), con synth e rumori aspri. Seguiranno nei giorni nomi come Lolina & Dr. Pit, già solidi nella co-creazione di atmosfere sonore pitchate e lontane, Julmud che da anni combina elettronica, hip hop e suoni palestinesi tradizionali, e altre chicche che vi lasceremo scoprire da soli.

In the darkness of Central Station tunnels, hidden from the eyes of the world, there’s a refuge for those seeking escape from the weariness of modern life and the hustle and bustle of Fuorisalone. Finally, a block party is in progress, where the dancefloor becomes again the solid ground for excellent parties. Chosen by Dropcity, Hundebiss Records curates a rich schedule of experimental musical performances, revealing the new semi-hidden pillars of the local and international scene. Every night, dj sets and lives with influences ranging from bass, dub, dancehall, arab, acid, to techno, illuminate the damp walls of the gallery with psychedelia. Holding the keys to open Dropcity’s site at night is Chuquimamani-Condori: a multidisciplinary artist who blends the traditional music of his family (from Pakajaqi, which we have discovered is currently occupied by Bolivia, Chile, and Argentina) with synths and harsh noises. Next up in the days will be names such as Lolina & Dr. Pit, already solid in the co-creation of pitched and distant sound atmospheres, Julmud, who combines electronics, hip hop and traditional Palestinian sounds, and other goodies that we’ll let you discover by yourself.
