Don’t even think about heading home after the Via Corsico Block Party. The afterparty at Rocket will keep going well into the night and we can keep dancing to the explosive Chicago house of Sadar Bahar, the party he calls Soul in the hole (because his passion for collecting vinyl comes from the soul). He will be accompanied by young Glenn Astro who has been producing since he was 13, starting out with hip-hop before moving into the world of house, soul, disco and jazz as he grew up. With the help of the Berlin network of connections and support, the DJ founded label Money $ex Records in 2015 with Max Graef and Delfonic. He and Max were released on Ninja Tunes with a hybrid house LP loaded with abstract and jazzy touches. And if all that still isn’t enough, the other room will host the Hormonal Sequenze crew, a label that takes inspiration from minimal and experimental late 70’s sounds, mixing them with electronica and a contemporary appeal: from techno to minimal-wave, from dark-ambient to synth-pop. Samatha (a well-known figure on the Milanese nightlife scene), Dies Irae and Broken English Club, aka Oliver Ho and Raudive, will be on the decks.
