If we think of design as the industry of problem-solving, then the issue of where to stay during the Salone must surely be one of the great themes of international design. It is not the first time that Ghigos has tackled hospitality (remember the project at NABA for Salone 2009), but this time the group is playing at home, in their new home as a matter of fact: over 1000m2 in Bovisa on the floor above the legendary Blitz shop with a spectacular view of the trains. A vast space that just became the largest makerspace in Italy with the combination of MakersHub and IDEAS bit Factory. Here the designers can sleep and exhibit in the same space, showing their lives and work together as though it were a great display-hostel. It is probable that interaction and analogue culture will be combined in many projects thanks to the MakersHub equipment available.
