Tiptoeing somewhere between careful and delicate design and artwork and suspended between Italy and Holland where they work and teach, the Formafantasma duo arrive at the Salone del Mobile 2017 to present their first industrial product in collaboration with Flos and Euroluce as well as the “Foundation” exhibition at Spazio Krizia.

Partly a selection of objects for the Delta Collection and partly experiments with light for the Art Centre Peep-Hole, “Foundation” is an occasion for the designers to take stock of the situation between the present and the future. The Spazio Krizia itself comes back to life to host the event: former cultural location and gathering point for figures such as Sottsass, Allende and Dario Fo, the theatre on Via Manin reopens its doors following the death of Mariuccia Mandelli. A ghost within a ghost, yet there will be no sheets or evanescent shapes at this Salone di Mobile, only lively and vibrant substance.
