As well as Base, Tortona offers the very Orientalist Milano Space Makers itinerary: first it presents 31 Stellar Works, the first global design brand born in Asia, at Opificio 31, while Via Nove 5 hosts the “Ròng” Contemporary Design Exhibition, a selection of elegant Chinese design in materials such as paper, copper and bamboo. Other disparate events include the MINI-living “Breathe” space, the Gufram- Citroën collaboration inspired by the iconic cactus and the Deesup second-hand design marketplace.
