Okzharp (pronounced “Ok Sharp”): musician and producer from Cape Town who lives in South London, member of the LV project and hot name on the London scene thanks to a hybrid style that mixes kwaito, minimal house and grime. He has collaborated with artists such as Zaki Ibrahim, Rubi Dan, Errol Bellot, Dandelion, Quarta 330, Zomby, Trim and Mumdance and released tracks with labels including Keysound and Souljazz. Manthe and Okzharp began their artistic partnership in 2015 for the track “Dear Robane”, which came out on Hyperdub. Graphic designer, ballerina and performer Manthe made an early start in her career dancing for Nelson Mandela at his birthday celebrations at the First National Bank Stadium (FNB Stadium) as a young girl.
