The Gin Rosa is a bench mark of the city since its foundation in 1820. During the years this place survived to bombing and removals, it was a bar where you could see the best-known exponents of the Milanese bourgeoisie and also very important politicians (especially during the Italian golden age). The “main character” at Gin Rosa is, obviously, the Gin Rosa itself; here you can tasty it in many different ways (we recommend you to try the shake version). The Americano with Gin Rosa is noteworthy, but also the Rosajito (with pounding orange) and the Rosa Tonic (Gin Rosa with tonic water). If you want to save some money, we recommend you to drink at the counter where you can also benefit of the yummy buffet (composed above all by canapés) and have a chitchat with the bartenders (maybe about how beautiful was Milan during its golden period).
