The world is changing and design is a direct testimony to these initially cultural and then artistic transformations. This process will be examined at the ASIA DESIGN PAVILION at this year’s Milan Design Week. As a barometer of Asian creativity, countries such as Singapore, Cambodia, Iran and Korea will allow us to observe the roots of a multifaceted and composite artistic production. This experience will not only include better-known artists, but will also favour installations from emerging Asian talent, and provide an area designed for the encounter of young creative people and potential producers, as well as a series of intercultural events dedicated to the gastronomic heritage of each participating country. And as though that wasn’t enough, you can also get to the pavilion via a boat trip on the Naviglio Grande. It’s not quite a Malaysian boat on the Mekong, but adventure is assured.
