Quando un numero conosciuto chiama, Milano risponde

Il nuovo alias di Chloé Robinson segna un punto di metamorfosi di una dj e producer dal palato raffinato. Conosciuta per oltre un decennio con lo pseudonimo poco raccomandabile di Barely Legal nel mondo della UK bass, grime e dubstep, ha ora abbracciato la produzione e la gestione della sua stessa etichetta, la Pretty Weird Records, con un approccio multi-genere: techno poliritmica, electro, UK garage. Supportata da artisti come Four Tet e Caribou, per il suo utlimo EP dai suoni tech house e UK techno ha collaborato con suo compagno di misfatti DJ ADHD (che abbiamo avuto la fortuna di sentire qui a Milano il 6 aprile grazie alle crew di God Will Save Us e Fleurs Sonores). 

Senza perderci in altre presentazioni: venerdì notte, insieme al back to back tra Octavio Octavio e HolyU, sarà dietro i piatti del Tunnel Club per farci assaggiare un po’ di croccantezza inglese.

Chloé Robinson’s new alias marks the metamorphosis of a DJ and producer with a refined taste. Known for more than a decade under the shady pseudonym Barely Legal in the world of uk bass, grime and dubstep, she has now embraced producing and managing her own label, Pretty Weird Records, with a multi-genre approach: polyrhythmic techno, electro, uk garage. Supported by artists such as Four Tet and Caribou, for her latest EP with tech house and uk techno sounds she collaborated with her fellow misfit DJ ADHD (whom we were lucky enough to hear on 6th April here in Milan thanks to the God Will Save Us and Fleurs Sonores crews). 

Without getting lost in any more introductions, she will be behind the decks at the Tunnel Club on Friday night, along with b2b Octavio Octavio and HolyU, to give us a taste of some UK crispness.
