Paradisoterrestre, the brand dreamed up by the eclectic Dino Gavina, which reappeared at last year’s Design Week thanks to Gherardo Tonelli’s great passion for art and design, presents a new collection and new editions of some historic pieces for this year’s FuoriSalone 2018.
Visitors to the Via Sirtori 32/A space will be able to admire: the new edition of the “Marcel” seating system, designed by Kazuhide Takahama and produced by Dino Gavina in 1965 in a clear tribute to their friend Marcel Duchamp; a limited new edition of the “Fausto” chair, designed by artist Novello Finotti and part of the 1971 “Ultramobile” collection; and a new collection of chairs and rugs, “All Around”, by French designer Pierre Gonalons. A preview of Movie Paradisoterrestre will be projected at the Porta Venezia space: a collection of interviews, accounts and historic material from the past and present of the brand from Bologna.
