Pino Pascali does not need any introduction. During a tragically short life (he died in 1968 at the age of 33 due to an accident) he created surprising works that have now become part of the contemporary visual vocabulary. Besides being a prolific artist and one of the exponents of Arte Povera, he also managed to work for TV, making commercials and short films for the Carosello. Within this exhibition, organized by the Pino Pascali Foundation, some of his iconic works, such as “Attrezzi Agricoli” (1968), “Contropelo” (1968), “The reconstruction of the Whale” (1966), “9 square meters of Puddles “(1967) and” Botole aka Works in Progress “(1968), are combined with personal notes and a precious corpus of photographs from 1965. The intent is to convey the importance of design and formal study in the artist’s personal research.
