A DJ before he was a producer, organiser of parties in the bunkers beneath Minneapolis’s never-ending winters and a techno soldier in Berlin in recent years: Zak has experienced every vein of clubbing, on the stage or behind it, at the door or on the dance floor, armed with tenacity and grit.
