The schizophrenic production of architect/artist Ugo La Pietra (who has never designed homes, museums, skyscrapers or shown any other architectural inclinations) is always aimed at provocation, experimentation and reflection on what surrounds us and the things that ought to make the city more liveable. This exhibition, with some of his work at Maga, an installation at the Porta di Milano at Malpensa Airport and another in Gallarate city centre, displays La Pietra’s work on the urban space, which the architect has always seen as simply a way to expand your personality outside of the home, to make the city your own and therefore live everywhere. Do not neglect green urban spaces, “take possession of them”: the architect explains how at the Galleria Bianconi for the “Cinque verdi urbani” exhibition”.
