We’ve got 11 rooms, 11 great architects and 11 philosophical styles. As German thinker Peter Sloterdijk said, one of the greatest goals ofphilosophy might be called “climatic”. Concepts and systems of thinking arerequired to make the world a hospitable place, an environment where theatmosphere isn’t toxic and where we feel at ease. And it is based on this premise that Francesco Cataluccio has selected the 11 architects in the exhibition. Each room represents a philosophical and literary trend and aims to highlight the relationships that bind humans to their living spaces. A relationship that does not solely entail practical characteristics such as comfort or function, but corresponding views and shared beliefs and convictions. The relationship, in short, between thought and object, mind and reality. From this point of view, inhabitation becomes a real intellectual act that seeks to align the
spirit with the world. The exhibition is curated by Giuseppe Finessi and includes work by Umberto Riva, Alessandro Mendini, Manolo De Giorgi, Lazzarini and Pickering, Marta Laudani and Marco Romanelli, Andrea Anastasio, Fabio Novembre, Duilio Forte, Elisabetta Terragni, Carlo Ratti and Francesco Librizzi.
