“Standards”, in the plural form: because here there are several ways to approach the sound, and this is not only related to live music. Created in May 2015 by Nicola Ratti and Alberto Boccardi, this is a space opened at meeting and events linked to the sound in its multiple variations, like a subject of research, sharing or comparison. Meetings and workshops join concerts, sometimes taking place in non “conventional” sites and times (such as with the morning light). The idea is not to establish a new place for live music in Milan – or rather not only this – but to do a larger discourse focused on sound and experimentation, in which also live performances take place. It goes without saying that morning concerts (from here the format Matinée) are the future of live music.
