FAI - Villa Panza and its collection

FAI - Villa Panza and its collection Piazza Litta, 1

Getting to Villa Panza from Milan it’s a bit painful, because the most beautiful things to see are often limited to a restricted number of visitors at a time, so you risk to get until there and be sent away: so call them and reserve a ticket before going. The house is eighteenth century old and it’s wonderful, with a marvelous Italian garden even if located in front of the endless country houses that arise in the land around Varese. The temporary exhibits usually are of high quality, while the contemporary art collection is sensational, counting the works of Dan Flavin and James Turrel among the others. The day off is Monday, except holidays.
