The first vast retrospective dedicated to the artist after his death in 2017 is the precious opportunity to look at the production of the sublime pioneer of poor art, from the written and pictorial to the physical and environmental one, through all the integrations of theatrical elements and narrative scenography, always realized with the use of materials deprived of their aesthetic characteristics. 70 works, produced from 1958 to 2016 and coming from international institutions and private collections that tell the whole parable of its symbolic, organic and inorganic world, starting from the aggregation of the first traits of its language, up to the triggering of the fire and the arrival of disenchantment, with stone and sublimation in soot. Curated by Germano Celant.
